Publication week!
I want to start by saying a huge thank you to everyone who preordered a copy of The Strangeworlds Travel Agency: The Edge of the Ocean - it has been so wonderful to see everyone receiving their copies (and yelling at me about That Ending...!), please do keep tagging me in pics, I love to see!
It's been a really lovely publication week, and this is just a recap of things that have been going on recently...

I ticked off a massive item on my author bucket list by getting to sign and personalise two hundred copies of Edge of the Ocean at Wonderland Bookshop in Retford. Helen has been a wonderful Strangeworlds cheerleader, so I'm sure we can work something out for Strangeworlds Three...!
I had a great interview with with Vincent over at HITC, where I talked about world-building as escapism, Strangeworlds got a shoutout on the BookRiot KidLit podcast showcasing books with trans and non-binary characters, and I joined my fellow Hachette Kids authors in the booksellers' 5GetBookish event!

I wrote an article for BookTrust about the importance of queer characters in children's fiction, which is something I'm very proud of and passionate about.

Readers of WRD Magazine got a full-page sneak preview of The Edge of the Ocean ahead of publication, and there is also an amazing competition running on Fun Kids Radio, which is very very cool, where you can win a suitcase full of Strangeworlds goodies AND a family ticket to Chessington World of Adventure. Check out their website for details!
Over on YouTube, I talked all things about the Strangeworlds series so far in a non-spoilery chat with Gavin over on his channel, which was such great fun!

Also on YouTube, you can catch up on an exclusive reading and craft activity I did for the lovelies at Moon Lane TV - they also have copies of both books, do check them out because they are truly awesome booksellers. And not YouTube but a video nonetheless, my intro to The Edge of the Ocean and answering some reader questions is over on The Book Nook's FB page.

And finally, last but not least, you can catch up on not one but TWO Podcasts! I chatted my seven best books with Alex on the Bert's Books Podcast (spoiler alert - one of my choices was not one book but a series of twenty-three), and also the MostlyBooks podcast where I chat all things Strangeworlds!
